Sweet Cicely is a Catering Company based in Greenogue Business Park, Co Dublin. We provide Catering for all events and occasions from Birthday Parties to Communions and Family Celebrations all catered for in the comfort of your own home.

Our Corporate and Office Catering has grown in strength over the years. We cater for all Corporate events from Breakfast, Lunch and Buffet Dinners to suit all our customers requirements. Our menus cover Boardroom meetings to all day Training Days and VIP Events. We cater for small or large numbers with a menu choice to suit every need. Our menu varies from our new Sandwich Boxed Lunches to a range of canapes and Hot Dishes with a variety to meet all our customers needs.

We are committed to providing great tasting food using only the freshest ingredients, delivered every morning. We pride ourselves in having the greatest variety of catering options so that your guests will always be impressed.

Siobhan Monaghan - Managing Director

Sweet Cicely was founded in July 2004 by Siobhan Monaghan who had recently graduated from Trinity College having completed a degree in Business studies. Siobhan’s passion, hard work and determination has made Sweet Cicely the successful business it has become.

Siobhan started the business on a small scale delivering the orders personally
directly to her customers offices and homes. In 2008 the business moved from a
small unit in Clondalkin to a purpose-built catering kitchen and office
premises in Greenogue Business Park. Over 16 years later Siobhan employs 18
staff and has 6 delivery vans on the road delivering great food to areas all
over Dublin and North Kildare

Siobhan’s success is completely down to her high standards in food quality and people skills. Siobhan has built up a huge customer base with a huge percentage of the business been repeat bookings. Siobhan’s reputation for excellence and high standards with great customer
service has hugely contributed to her success, not to mention her down to earth
approach and ability to drive a team to deliver results whilst ensuring
personal responsibility to achieve great results.

MEET OUR TEAM:

Gillian Hennessy - General Manager

Gillian joined Sweet Cicely in early 2020. Her extensive experience in the food and hospitality industry has been a welcome addition to the team. Her seamless approach to operations adds to the efficient day to day running of the business. She is very customer focussed and leads the business development representing the business in local networking & sales meetings. Her positive attitude inspires and motivates the team to keep our quality and standards high.

Sean McGourty - Head Chef

Sean has been the head chef in Sweet Cicely for the last two years. His experience in the services industry and awareness of food safety laws means the kitchen is always kept to an extremely high standard.

Sean keeps up to speed with current food trends ensuring that we constantly have something to suit everyone and every event. Sean looks after all the purchasing of stock ensuring the quality
of ingredients and consistent excellent margins. He also ensures all staff are trained in line with our HACCP system.


Clodagh Walsh - Office Manager

Clodagh began working with Siobhan in 2013 and has been a real asset to the business. With her strong organisational skills and positive can-do attitude, she has been an integral part in driving sales, taking orders, and improving efficiency within the company. Clodagh looks after the accounts payable and prepares the management accounts.

Lorna O Beirne - Accounts Receivable & Customer Service

Lorna has worked in Sweet Cicely since 2015 and looks after the customer invoicing and credit control. She also builds great relationships with our customers helping them to plan the perfect gathering. Her attention to detail is an invaluable strength in the office.

Our kitchen & driving team

We have a long-established team of 19, consisting of full and part time staff who have all worked in the Food and Catering Industry for several years. They pride themselves on providing and preparing our signature boxes, ensuring everything is delivered on time to the right location and always have a laugh and the chats while making sure the job gets done.
